Sarah, who works at the WalMart photo center on Nicholasville Road in Lexington, ROCKS! She was patient enough to take the time to do my photo CD 3 times before it finally came out right. Turns out there were folders missing on the first 2 that apparently are only on the WalMart brand CD. Anyway, this is my first try at shooting black and white film. Hope you like them!

love the b&w! what kind of camera and film are you using? great stuff! Thu 5-Aug-2004 02:08

Hey, Jude! (Oops, sorry about that...) Glad you like the photos. I think the film was regular Kodak, 400 speed probably since that's what I usually buy for color photos. The camera is a Pentax IQZoomEZY, auto focus 35mm camera. (The "auto focus" part is probably why only 12 out of 24 shots are displayed here. That and my inexperience.) Thu 5-Aug-2004 10:56

This weekend I went up to Cincinnati to hang out with the Vineyard Central gang and meet fellow blogger, Laura Ogle. I took lots of photos of the church and a few of the goings-on with Laura and the gang.

These are wonderful, Debi. I had a difficult time with getting pictures so these are priceless. Thank you! Mon 26-Jul-2004 14:50

I put "4th" in quotes because Lexington decided to have our festivities on Saturday, the 3rd, rather than on Sunday, the 4th, due to (I think) the fact that you can't sell package liquor here on Sundays. But that's beside the point. Here are photos of my ramblings through downtown Lexington, where Main St. and Vine St. (the 2 main thoroughfares downtown) are blocked off and booths set up, etc. Lots of fun and lots of "people-watching" to be had.

This weekend several of us from VBCC, along with Dave and Jodi Nixon from Vineyard Central in Cincinnati, went to a retreat center called The Ark, in Berea, KY. We had a great time, a spiritually refreshing time, as can be seen in the photos.

Some friends and I went down to Triangle Park in downtown Lexington and played around (and in) the fountain. I think I got some pretty good shots.

Yesterday, several of us from VBCC went to Cincinnati to hang out with the VC folks and talk about house church stuff and our individual journeys. We talked, ate, and generally hung out and developed relationships.

Haha! "How many pastors does it take..." Cute. Wed 14-Apr-2004 13:19

Apparently it takes more than three--we never did get that one started. Becky ended up renting one from Home Depot. :^) Thu 15-Apr-2004 02:41
